Our Services

General Services

  • BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We can help diagnose behavioral problems such as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client. The first part of any behavior workup is a complete health exam and often bloodtests to rule out metabolic causes! We often work with and refer to behaviorists when needed.

  • DENTAL CARE

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. We have a dental x-ray machine to properly diagnose and treat dental disease.  We offer a complete Dental Package which includes extensive teeth cleaning for your pet with an option for full-mouth radiographs and extractions when needed.  Please click on the links in red for a more detailed description.

Pain management is an important part of all dental and surgical procedures. We also offer pain management for chronic discomfort such as  that associated with osteoarthritis and cancer.  We carry multiple modalities to alleviate pain, so that a program can be tailored to your pet's needs and any special medical conditions.

  • RADIOLOGY

Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.  We have all of our x-rays read by veterinary radiologists for the best of care. We also have veterinary radiologists who come to our clinic to provide  ultrasound services for our patients.

  • SENIOR WELLNESS PLANS

We understand that as your pet gets older, the body changes.  We offer our middle-age and senior pets a workup designed to monitor changes that can lead to disease.  If caught early, the disease can be easier to treat and manage.  We also recommend a physical exam every 6 months, since changes can occur quickly in pets.
